Most Disliked

Some patrons have expressed frustration over wait times during busy periods, particularly on Fridays when the place hits full capacity. While customer service is generally praised, occasionally, certain customers feel overlooked during peak hours. A few reviews mention a lack of awareness from staff, which can lead to miscommunication. However, many customers also indicate that with patience, the service is worth the wait. Some may find certain options on the menu, particularly non-seafood items, a bit lacking compared to the stellar seafood selections. Overall, while there are minor complaints, dedicated customers still flock to Sea Rock for the quality food they love.

Working in the area for a few weeks and had the pleasure of chatting to the beautiful people here. The food is tasty and the battered fish doesn’t go soggy even after a day in the fridge. Great customer service. I really love the seafood box and also the ribs.

Seems like a change of management, but it was for the good. It is a really nice place with great food and generous portions. You've got to try the Cod & Chips (obviously), and please do try the bbq ribs (dry mix), it was so soft and perfectly seasoned. Might become my fortnightly food dash.

In response to the list made by Jay1892. I was the customer being served when you entered the take away. Whilst I agree that your presence was not immediately acknowledged but Suzie was dealing with my order whilst we were talking. It was not possible for you to see she was preparing my order whilst having a catch up re holiday and fostering good customer relations. When you verbalise your displeasure about being ignored. It simply was because I was still being served. I Must say I was shocked by your reaction and the fact that you said "curse" the business owner .Which prompted her to respond. On noting your displeasure we both apologised to demonstrate good will Maybe a little patience and understanding in this case would go long way . This is a classic example of the perils of living in a consumer world.

Very good fish, chips, & mushy peas. Fish was nice and crispy and chips were perfectly cooked. Portion size was good too.

The decor is clean and modern. There was great music playing so didn’t mind the wait. We got a large chips and battered sausage, which tasted absolutely great as they cooked fresh. Service was friendly and efficient. They have a lot of options on the menu which isn’t strictly fish related such as ham and chicken burgers to name a few. I think this will be my go to chippy.

Probably the best fish and chip shop around. Had cod and chip with the most amazing onion rings Also the ribs are outstanding. Food cooked fresh and is so tasty. Brings back memories how chip shop used to be. So worth the 30 minutes drive to go there.
